TEMPLE OF MARBLE
Wat Benchamabopit Dusitwanaram (Wat Ben), or Marble Temple, built with Carrara marble, is located near the Government Palace and the Equestrian Statue of King Rama IV. It is an ancient temple during the Ayutthaya period, it was originally called Wat Laem or Wat Saithong. During the reign of King Rama IV, the temple was restored by five princes and renamed Wat Bejamabopit (five princes). In 1899, King Rama V completely rebuilt the temple and gave it the name Wat Benjamabopit Dusitwanaram, which means the Temple of the Fifth King. He put Prince Narissaranuwatti in charge of the design and construction.
WAT SAKET (GOLDEN MOUNT)
Wat Saket or the Temple of the Golden Mount in Bangkok is an ancient temple dating back to the Ayutthaya period. Previously called Wat Sakae, the name was changed to Wat Saket during the reign of King Rama I. The Golden Mount, built under the rule of King Rama V, is 77 meters high and at the top reside many of the Buddhist relics found in the ancient city Kapilavastu.
Some other interesting things in this Bangkok temple are the numerous Buddha images, the temple hall, the pagoda, the scripture room and the Sri Maha Bodhi tree. This is another must-see place when visiting Bangkok.
FLOWER MARKET
The Bangkok Flower Market (Pak Klong Talad) is the largest wholesale and retail fresh flower market in Bangkok. The market has all kinds of popular flowers and flora-related items, including roses, orchids, lilies, and more. Most of them are sold in packs of 50 or 100 flowers each, and the prices are incredibly cheap. Part of the Old City, Bangkok's Flower Market is located on Chak Phet Road near Saphan Phut or the Memorial Bridge. Shops and vendors are housed in two- or three-story shops on either side of the main road. The market is located just south of Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha) and has access to a riverside pier, so it makes for a great day trip combined with other historic Old Town attractions.

Why Thai Akha?
Why cooking with Us?
The Akha people immigrated and became citizens of Thailand in the early 1900s through China, Laos and Myanmar.
There are now 80,000 Akha people living in small villages in the mountains of Thailand. Akha people have their own traditions, culture and beliefs, different from the rest of Thailand, as many hill tribes do.
Thai Akha Kitchen is run by Akha people who were born and raised in Thailand.
We love Thai food just as much as you
