BANGKOK. CANAL BOAT TOUR, THE EASTERN VENICE - HALF DAY ON A PRIVATE BASIS
Private Base Excursion, available in the morning (08: 30-12: 00) or Afternoon (13: 30-17: 00)
Day 1
At the fixed time, meeting with the guide in the Hotel Lobby.
The half day includes a visit to the Canals of Bangkok with a Long Tail Boat and a visit to Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn).
Bangkok was once known as the "Venice of the East" because the city was built along the many waterways. Since then, many of the canals on the east side of the river have been filled, giving way to concrete and asphalt. On the west side of Thonburi, however, crossable canals still exist and make for excellent studies of how locals lived in the past. This excursion, with a long tail boat, takes you through its canals, locally known as Khlongs to explore the greenest and most peaceful part of Bangkok. Leave the hassle of the city behind as you travel to the area where people live in houses on stilts and still travel by boat along the canals.

Why Thai Akha?
Why cooking with Us?
The Akha people immigrated and became citizens of Thailand in the early 1900s through China, Laos and Myanmar.
There are now 80,000 Akha people living in small villages in the mountains of Thailand. Akha people have their own traditions, culture and beliefs, different from the rest of Thailand, as many hill tribes do.
Thai Akha Kitchen is run by Akha people who were born and raised in Thailand.
We love Thai food just as much as you
