Day 1
CHIANG MAI – DOI SUTHEP, CITY TEMPLES & MONKS’ CHANTING
At the agreed time, meet with the guide for a journey dedicated to the spiritual and cultural discovery of Chiang Mai.
The visit begins with the famous Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, located on the hill overlooking the city. The temple is reached via a scenic staircase flanked by seven-headed Naga serpents. From the top, you can enjoy breathtaking views over Chiang Mai. The architecture is in Lanna style, featuring a magnificent golden pagoda in Chiang Saen style.
Return to the city and visit the main historic temples:
Wat Phra Singh, home to the revered Phra Singh Buddha image;
Wat Chedi Luang, with its impressive partially ruined chedi;
Wat Chiang Man, the oldest temple in the city.
During the visit, you will experience the evocative monks’ chanting ceremony, a unique and touching spiritual moment.
Return to the hotel is expected around 17:30.
