With beautiful nature blended with Lanna Culture and colours of contemporary perfectly Chiang Mai is, therefore, a province that has many tourists, both Thai and foreigners, come in many millions each year. Popular tourist activities in Chiang Mai include worshipping the Phra That doi suthep, which is an important Landmark of Chiang Mai people. Experience the local way of life and shop for stylish handmade products at Thapae Walking Street. Visit various species of plants at the Queen Sirikit botanical Garden and Rajapruek Royal Park. Do not miss to shop art products, taste local CUISINE and see cultures on Nimmanhaemin Road. In addition, nature and mountain tours are another activity that should not be missed when visiting Chiang Mai, whether stepping on the highest point of Thailand at the top of doi inthanon. Experience Ecotourism HomeStay in Mae Kampong and visit Hmong villages in Doi Pui and many more.
When the darkness is about to fall, bustling Chiang Mai is cooled down by the evening breeze. The city turns lively again. Sometimes, it is more comfortable for an easy night out.
In the old quarter, Wat Phra Sing and Wat Chedi Luang are lighted up and allow their sacred architectures to glow out of the dark deep blue sky. You will see the ancient Temples, which differ from during the day time. Wat Umong, known for its tunnels under the temple complex, will be covered by a magical atmosphere during twilight. If you go a little further to the adjacent doi suthep, you will certainly be amazed by the magnificent view of Chiang Mai at night with fewer tourists.
While making your way through the darkness, you may find many Food stalls come to life. An array of local cuisines can be found across Chiang Mai; however, traditional northern-style Dinner or Khan Toke may be a more impressive option. The Old Chiang Mai Cultural Center offers the culturally rich Khan Toke dinner with traditional dances and performances.
Anyway, there’s always room for dessert. Take Chang Moi Road, which leads to Kad Luang or Warorot Market and you will find yourself on the road of yummy sweet dishes. Ua Chang Seng offers the best Kanom Khai and a wide selection of Hopia. Sundae Ice Cream in Ton Lam Yai Market offers Ruammit - chilled sweet coconut milk and tapioca noodle, with jackfruit and tiny boba. At Kad Luang, a stall under the stairs provides a great selection of traditional Thai dessert with a premium deliciousness.

Koh Samui is a tropical island paradise in the Gulf of Thailand, known for its stunning palm-fringed beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant coral reefs. It's the second-largest island in Thailand and a part of Surat Thani Province. With its broad appeal to everyone from budget travelers to the luxury vacationers, Koh Samui offers a wide range of activities including water sports, temple visits, and spa treatments.
The island boasts an array of attractions, from the bustling beach towns of Chaweng and Lamai, which are hubs for nightlife and dining, to the more serene and secluded beaches of Maenam, Bophut, and Lipa Noi, ideal for those seeking tranquility. Koh Samui's interior is hilly and cloaked in dense tropical forest, with hidden waterfalls like Na Muang and secret hiking trails offering panoramic views.
Culturally, visitors can explore local life through the night markets, the famous Big Buddha statue at Wat Phra Yai, and the mummified monk at Wat Khunaram. The island is also a gateway to the nearby Ang Thong National Marine Park, a pristine archipelago of 42 islands ideal for day trips and diving excursions. With its easy accessibility via its own airport and a reputation for idyllic beach vacations, Koh Samui remains a top choice for travelers to Thailand.
