Day 1

HANOI - Arrival

Arrival in Hanoi, immigration operations and transfer to the hotel (Check-in time: 14.00 - Early check-in

available with supplement). Hanoi, the political capital of Vietnam, means in Vietnamese “on this side of

river”, lying along the bank of the Red River and inhabited by about one million inhabitants. Capital

imperial since 1010 and during the Le dynasty from 1428 to 1788, it resumed its role in French Indochina

during the colonial period from 1902 to 1953, to become the political capital of the country after

reunification in 1976. In the afternoon visit of the Pagoda with a single Pillar, built in 1049 BC

representation of the purity of the lotus flower; Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (the esplanade), the Temple of the

Literature, ancient university built in 1070 in honor of Confucius, the Quan Than temple, the lake of the

Day 2

HANOI - HALONG [B / L / D]

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning departure for Halong Bay, called the eighth wonder of the world, with

seafood lunch on board. The bay, dotted with karst rocks, has undergone the work over the millennia

of wind and water erosion, creating a phantasmagoric environment of islands, islets and stacks, some

of which hundreds of meters high. Some islands have also formed an inland pond, accessible through

a passage that disappears completely during high tide, while others have caves and formations from

stranger forms. During the mid-seasons, the morning mist creates even more suggestive effects, making

islands and rocks appear and disappear in the distance. According to a legend, the hundreds of islets would be i

remains of the tail of a dragon that sank into the waters of the bay. Visit to a cave. Dinner and overnight. (B / L / D)

Day 3

HALONG - HAIPHONG - DANANG - HOI AN [B / L]

Breakfast on board, continuation of the cruise in the bay. In the late morning return to the port e

departure for Haiphong airport. Brunch during the excursion. Boarding and departure operations with

flight to Danang. Arrival in Danang, meeting with our guide and transfer to Hoi An for the night. Long

the journey (about 30 minutes) the guide will have the opportunity of a brief introduction about the history of the

Central Vietnam, as well as providing you with useful information for your stay. Free dinner. Overnight

at hotel in Hoi An.

Day 4

HOI AN [B / L]

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning dedicated to visiting the sacred site of My Son, with the remains of the kingdom's temples

dei Cham, continuation to Danang for a visit to the Cham Museum. Lunch during the excursion. Hoi An,

full of buildings with Chinese architectural influence, which testify to its important past as a center

merchant. Known by the ancients as Faifo. Hoi An has been a bustling trading port since the 2nd century

AD, under the Champa reign. Decayed in the 14th century, it resumed its function as an international emporium

towards the middle of the 15th century. It was only in the 19th century, with the silting of the Cai River, that the city lost

importance in favor of Danang, which rises 30 km to the north. Visit of the old town with the bridge

Japanese of 1592, the temple dedicated to the goddess Fukie, the old municipal houses. Free dinner.

Day 5

HOI AN - HUE [B / L]

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure in the morning for the city of Hue. The city rises along the banks of the River Gods

Profumi and was founded in 1687 taking the name of Phu Xuan and becoming the capital of the southern part

of Vietnam in 1744. It was still the capital of Vietnam from 1802 to 1945 under the reign of the 13 emperors of

Nguyen dynasty. In 1802, Emperor Nguyen An made it the capital of the entire country, renaming it

Hué. The Old Town, with the Citadel and the imperial residence, rise on the left bank of the river,

while the New Town (where it was once the residence of Europeans) and the imperial tombs. Visit to the tomb

imperial of Ming Mang, continuation to the Thien Mu pagoda overlooking the Perfume River and visit

of the imperial citadel, now rearranged with the help of Unesco. Lunch in a restaurant with cooking course

class. At the end of the visits, hotel accommodation and overnight stay. Free dinner.

Day 6

HUE - HO CHI MINH [B / L]

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer in time to the airport, flight to Saigon and start of visits by Saigon, a vital city but also rich in testimonies of the past: the cathedral of Notre Dame (to be visited from outside under renovation) dating back to 1877, the Post Office, the Binh Tay market, the Cho Lon district and the Thien hau pagoda. Lunch in a local restaurant. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 7

HO CHI MINH - MEKONG DELTA - HO CHI MINH [B / L]

Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to the Mekong Delta, the largest rice basket in the country.

Transfer to My Tho. Boarding for a cruise on the Mekong to observe the daily life of local people living along the great river: floating farms for fish farming by sailing in small canals bordered by papaya and coconut trees. Leaving the boat you visit the locals to see the way they make their home "appliances" with coconut trunks and roofing roofs. Seasonal fruit tasting with traditional music performance. The journey continues with the tour in horse-drawn carriage on quiet, quiet streets to an orchard where a cup of tea and honey will be offered natural. You will try the experience of a small sampan for the transfer to a local house for lunch. At the end, return by boat to My Tho and transfer to Ho Chi Minh City. - Wear mosquito repellant with DEET, particularly around dawn and dusk.

- Koh Tao is a fragile ecosystem hosting over 100,000 visitors a year: please DO NOT LITTER: even cigarette butts and plastic wrappers from water bottles take a heavy toll over time

- While diving or Snorkelling, look, don't touch; this includes turtles, coral, and any other marine life!

Ko Chang island, known also as Elephant Island named because of its elephant shaped headland, is Thailands third largest island after Phuket and Samui. It is located around 300 kilometres east of Bangkok in Trat Province, in the Gulf of Thailand near the Cambodian border.

The highest peak on the island is Khao Salak Phet, rising from the ground at 743 meters, and given its mountainous terrain there is an abundance of waterfalls with the tallest but not always the most accessible being Klong Neung waterfall, which can be found in thesouth-eastern corner of the island.
