Day 1

Day 1- UJUNG PANDANG/TORAJA (L/D): You will be picked-up from either Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport in Ujung Pandang (arrival before 12.00pm mandatory) or at the hotel (at 10.00am) and we'll head Tana Toraja. The journey will take about eight hours. On the way, we will visit a Bugis village and stop in Pare-Pare for lunch. We will continue to Rantepao via several scenic mountain passes. Arrival at Toraja in the late afternoon and check-in. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight. 

Day 2

Day 2- TORAJA (B/L/D): At 8.00am, we will start our first day tour in Toraja. The tour includes: Lemo, a graveyard on the cliff; Suaya, an old royal stone grave of the old king; Sanggala, the tree for the dead babies; Londa, an ancient natural grave with puppets on the balcony representing the dead; Ketekesu, a traditional Toraja village with the unique Tonkonan Houses. The lunch will be served at local restaurant. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight.

Day 3

Day 3- TORAJA (B/L/D): At 8.00am, we will start our second day in Toraja. The tour includes: Batutumonga, a mountainous area with fantastic scenery of green paddy fields and rice terraces; Palawa, the oldest village of Toraja; Sadan Tobarana, the Centre of Toraja Weaving. We will also visit a traditional market. If there will be a ceremony during our stay in Toraja, we will also be able to attend it. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight.

Day 4

Day 4- TORAJA/UJUNG PANDANG/MANADO (B/L): At 6.30am, depart for Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport in Ujung Pandang. Lunch will be served at Pare-pare. Flight to Manado (about one hour and forty-five minutes). Upon arrival at Sam Ratulangi International Airport, transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

NOTE: flight is not included.

Day 5

Day 5- MANADO/GANGGA ISLAND (B/D): At 10.00am, we'll take the car to Serei jetty for about one hour and forty-five minutes. Then continue by boat for fifteen minutes to Gangga Island Resort & Spa to check-in. The rest of the day will be free to enjoy the beach and relax. Overnight.

Day 6

Day 6- GANGGA ISLAND (B/D): This day is free to explore the island, enjoy the beach and swim in the lovely clear waters.

Day 7

Day 7- GANGGA ISLAND (B/D): This day is free to explore the island, enjoy the beach and swim in the lovely clear waters.

Day 8

Day 8- GANGGA ISLAND/MANADO (B): According to your flight details, return transfer by boat and car to Sam Ratulangi International Airport in Manado, in order to take your flight to the next destination.

Travel Tips

- The best time to Travel to Koh Kood is between November and February although the monsoon rains are moderate even during the rainy season months.

- In the low season, between April and November, there is limited Boat service to the Island as tourist arrivals are less frequent.

- Koh Kood has malaria-infected mosquitoes and visitors should bring a supply of mosquito repellent with DEET.

- There are no banks or ATMs on the Island, so make sure to bring sufficient funds or use the ATM on the mainland near the pier prior to departure.

- Trat airport is the most convenient airport for access to Koh Kood.

Ko Chang island, known also as Elephant Island named because of its elephant shaped headland, is Thailands third largest island after Phuket and Samui. It is located around 300 kilometres east of Bangkok in Trat Province, in the Gulf of Thailand near the Cambodian border.

From jungle covered mountain peaks to sweeping bays, great waterfalls to flourishing coral reefs, beach huts to luxury resorts, Koh Chang has plenty to offer for everyone.Ko Chang is part of the Mu Ko Chang National Park. Despite its increase in development and tourism in the past decade or so, it has retained its remote and rugged character.

With an area covering approximately 212 square kilometres, 70% of Koh Chang is covered in rainforests, mountains and beaches. The highest peak on the island is Khao Salak Phet, rising from the ground at 743 meters, and given its mountainous terrain there is an abundance of waterfalls with the tallest but not always the most accessible being Klong Neung waterfall, which can be found in thesouth-eastern corner of the island.
