Day 1

DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN CHIANG MAI – DOI SUTHEP, CITY TEMPLES, MONKS' CHANTING. (L.)

Arrival at Chiang Mai airport. Meet with the guide and transfer to the hotel. At 12:00, meet with the guide and transfer to a restaurant for lunch.

The visit to Chiang Mai starts with its most famous temple, Wat Pratat Doi Suthep, located on a mountain offering a panoramic view of the hilly area of Chiang Mai. Built in the early 19th century of the Buddhist era (we are now in the 26th), the beauty of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is marked by statues of seven-headed serpents flanking the stairs to the temple, where a golden pagoda in Chiang Saen style and exquisite Lanna architecture can be found. The view of Chiang Mai from here is simply phenomenal.

We return to the city where the past is not only composed of stories and old, dusty history books but is a very real part of everyday life. The city is defined by a 600-year-old moat, lies in the shadow of a 14th-century monastery, and is dotted with temples built by kings in centuries past. In ancient times, kings built temples to demonstrate not only their devotion but also their wealth and power. The temples served not only as centers of faith but also as schools and hospitals. Today, temples are still a central part of Thai life, and the sacred structures of Chiang Mai are living, breathing places that serve as priceless bridges to the past, keeping people connected to the timeless traditions of their ancestors. The visit includes Wat Pra Singh, Wat Chedi Luang, and Wat Chiang Man. During the visit, we will also have the opportunity to observe the monks chanting their prayers in perfect unison, resonating throughout the hall and making the experience truly spiritual.

Return to the hotel is expected around 17:30.

Day 2

In the afternoon we visit a village of Long Neck. The arrival in Chiang Rai is expected around 17:30.
FIELD ORCHIDS AND BUTTERFLIES
Close to each other, in the Mae Rim district, there is a group of four orchid farms that offer us the opportunity to witness the beauty of different types of orchids and colorful butterflies. Among the four, Sai Nam Phueng Farm is the largest orchid farm in Chiang Mai, while the other three: Mae Rim Orchid, Suan Bua Mae Sa and Bai Orchid & Butterfly also offer different variations and settings.
MAE TANG ELEPHANT PARK
MaeTaeng Elephant Park was born in 1989, following the ban on cutting trees in Thai forests. Seeing an increasing number of elephants forced to wander the streets of the city and resume work in the illegal timber trade, the Chailert family, with no previous experience of working with elephants, has decided to create a safe and friendly working environment that i Kingdom visitors would be able to help by supporting and visiting MaeTaeng Elefant Park.
In 2009, the park took on a different meaning when the Chailert family realized that in order to ensure the long-term sustainability of domesticated elephant herds which, apart from the LamPang Elephant Hospital, had to be equipped with a fully licensed clinic. equipped with full-time veterinary staff, which includes an experienced veterinarian and an expert Mahout with extensive knowledge of natural medicinal herbs and elephant behavior, which can only be achieved through a close and unbroken bond. With the help of various volunteer groups and volunteers together with several local companies, we have been able to create an adequate clinical infrastructure and today we have a fully operational FREE clinic.

KAREN LONG NECK (Giraffe Women)

The Long Necks are part of the Karen ethnic populations. They are called Padaung. It is believed that they originally came from Yunnan province, central China. Later in 1000 AD according to the story, they emigrated to the Salween River basin in Myanmar. In 1995 there were about 25,000 Padaung living in Myanmar. Dedicated mainly to traditional agricultural activities. After the persecutions against minorities in Myanmar, the Padaungs have been evacuated and scattered throughout the area and coexist with other minorities so that they can be protected.

Day 3

CHIANG RAI - CHIANG MAI VIA DOI SAKET – Triángulo de Oro, Barco en el Maekong, Pueblo de Don Sao, Templo Blanco, Aguas Termales de Mae Krachan. (B.L.)
