Breakfast at the hotel. At 06:30-07:00 Meet the guide and depart for a day of exploring some of the main attractions of this metropolis and its surroundings. We head to the nearby provinces of Song Khram and Ratchaburi, about 100 km from Bangkok. We start with the Maeklong Railway Market (Hoop Rom Market), also known as Siang Tai market (life-risking). It is considered one of Thailand's fantastic attractions. Spread over a length of 100 meters, the market is located on the railway near the Mae Klong railway station. Then we proceed to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, arriving at the pier and taking a long-tail boat for about 30 minutes through the canals to reach the Floating Market. The Damnoen Saduak market in Ratchaburi is one of the most popular floating markets in Thailand. Every day, many Thai and foreign tourists come here to shop, eat, and soak in the atmosphere of Thailand's water markets built over a hundred years ago. Around 11:00 AM, Departure to return to Bangkok, with a stop at a local restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon, we continue with the Royal Palace, founded in 1782, which includes not only royal halls and throne rooms but also numerous government offices and the famous Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Covering an area of 218,000 square meters, it is surrounded by four walls, 1900 meters in length. Then we visit the adjacent Wat Pho, which is not only one of Bangkok's most visited Buddhist temples but also a combination of history, medical science, and educational institute. Wat Pho was founded during the 16th century and later became the Royal Temple of King Rama I of the Chakri dynasty. In 2008, Wat Pho was inscribed as a UNESCO Memory of the World (MOW) for documentary heritage for Asia and the Pacific region. Return to the hotel is scheduled between 17:00-17:30.

Day 3

DAY 3 - BANGKOK - KANCHANABURI, River Kwai: War Museum, Allied Cemetery, Train Riding, Prasat Muang Singh. (L.)

At 06:30 AM, meet the guide and depart for Kanchanaburi, with an expected arrival around 09:30 AM. Begin the visits. Kanchanaburi is a city in western Thailand, famous for the Death Railway built during World War II. The line crosses the Khwae Yai River via the Death Railway Bridge. Exhibits at the JEATH War Museum honor the prisoners of war who died building the bridge. The Thailand-Burma Railway Centre explores the broader history of the railway. Nearby, thousands of Allied soldiers are buried in the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery. At 10:45 AM - Board the train for a scenic journey to Tham Krasae. Stop for lunch and time to visit the area with the Tham Krasae Bridge next to the cave of the same name. In this area, the train slows to a walking pace as it crosses the precarious-looking bridge known as the Wang Pho viaduct. A wall of rock towers is located a short distance to the right, with a sheer drop to the river and phenomenal views to the left, another highlight of the journey. After lunch, visit the Prasat Muang Singh Historical Park, where we find traces of the Khmer Empire, once thriving, in one of the best-known religious structures in Thailand. Historians estimate that Prasat Mueang Singh and its surrounding architectures on the Kwai Noi River bank were built between 857 and 1157 as a religious temple of the Khmer Empire. Later, the temple was abandoned until the reign of King Rama I, when the Mueang Singh area became one of the border towns of Kanchanaburi. However, restoration of the structures was not completed until 1987. The main remaining structure is Prasat Mueang Sing itself (the Tower of the City of Lions), a Khmer-style architecture with influences from the arts of Lop Buri. It is framed by city walls measuring 800 x 1,500 meters. During excavations, historians found valuable artifacts, antiques, ceramics, and religious ornaments with over 2000 years of history. Around 3:00 PM, transfer to the hotel. Check-in. The rest of the evening is free.

Day 4

DAY 4 KANCHANABURI: Erawan National Park - AYUTTHAYA (B.L.)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Meet the guide around 08:30 AM, we will set off for a visit to Erawan National Park. Upon arrival at Erawan waterfalls, we will begin our exploration. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes suitable for a short trek, and bring along swimwear and towels. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant or in takeaway format. Erawan National Park holds significant importance as one of Thailand's main national parks. Located in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, the park has received numerous awards, the most prestigious of which was the award in the natural attractions category at the sixth Thailand Tourism Industry Awards in 2006. Here you will discover Kanchanaburi's largest and most picturesque waterfall, Erawan waterfall, which flows from the high mountain 2,100 meters above sea level, originating from the Huai Mong Lai River. The waterfall stretches for a length of 1,500 meters and comprises seven levels, each of which offers a spacious and safe area for swimming and relaxation. Additionally, you can take a 30-minute walk along the Erawan Nature Trail to appreciate the beauty of the lush evergreen hills and deciduous forests. Around 3:00 PM - 3:30 PM, we will begin our journey to Ayutthaya, with an estimated travel time of 3-3.5 hours. Subsequently, you will check-in at the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5

DAY 5 - BANGKOK - AYUTTHAYA - SUKHOTHAI. Bang Pa In, Ayutthaya Historical Park, Sukhothai Historical Park (L.)

At 07:00, Meeting with the guide and departure to explore the Ancient Capital of Thailand.

Bang Pa In is reached by a short journey of approximately 60 kilometers (40 miles) north of Bangkok, along the banks of the Chaopraya River. Bang Pa In is one of the summer palaces of the Thai Royal Family. The palace dates to the seventeenth century, before Bangkok became the capital, then fell into disuse for a long period. All the buildings you will visit date back to its revival, made possible by King Mongkut (Rama IV) in the nineteenth century.

We continue with the Ayutthaya Historical Park; the city was founded around the year 1350 and became the second Siamese capital after Sukhothai. It flourished from the 14th to the 18th century, during which it became one of the largest and most cosmopolitan urban areas in the world and a center of diplomacy and global trade. Ayutthaya was strategically located on an island surrounded by three rivers that connected the city to the sea. This site was chosen because it was above the Gulf of Siam tide as it existed at that time, thus preventing the city from being attacked by maritime warships from other nations.

13:00-13:30 LUNCH BREAK

In the afternoon, we arrive at the Sukhothai Historical Park. The park is open daily and also offers tram service as well as bicycle rental to explore the vast area. Main points of interest include: The city walls are located in the center of the Historical Park and are surrounded by bastions. The rectangular-shaped city measures 1330 meters in width and 1800 meters in length. The walls contain four main gates. An inscription on the stone mentions that King Ramkhamhaeng placed a bell on one of the gates. If his subjects needed help, they could ring the bell, and the King would come out to make decisions on disputes and dispense justice. Within the city are 35 monuments including Buddhist temples and many other structures, including The Royal Palace and Wat Mahathat. Arrival at the hotel in Sukhothai around 17:30. Overnight stay.

Day 6

DAY 6 - SUKHOTHAI - SRI SATCHANALAI - PHAYAO - Si Satchanalai Historical Park, Wat Phra That Suthon Mongkol Khiri, Vonburi House, Phayao Lake (B.L.) 320 Km

07:00 Meeting with the local guide, departure for Chiang Rai, with pleasant stops along the way. The Si Satchanalai Historical Park is located on the bank of the Yorm River. The ancient city, formerly known as Muang Chaliang, was renamed Si Satchanalai during the reign of Phra Ruang when a new administrative center was established to replace Chailang. The ruins of 134 monuments have been discovered within this park. Although not an ancient temple, Wat Phra That Suthon Mongkol Khiri has beautiful architecture inspired by traditional style, such as the Ubosot (Assembly Hall), and Lanna style, with a Teak building. The Vonburi House, built in Teak, was constructed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries in European colonial style. Today it is an interesting museum house, very well preserved. Lunch break at a local restaurant. Phayao Lake is very popular among local tourists and is also an important fishing resource. Early in the morning, fishermen go out and return by mid-morning to supply the lakefront restaurants that will prepare for another day of catering, featuring, naturally, grilled lake fish on their menu. The lakeside is a popular recreational area with afternoon aerobics classes, families picnicking, and couples strolling in the evening along the promenade between cafes and adjacent restaurants. Here, various activities are available (not included in the quote, to be paid directly on site), including renting a boat to cruise along the waters to Wat Tilokarum, or renting a bike to wander around the lake. Around 18:00-18:30 arrival at the hotel. Check-in and allocation of reserved rooms. Evening at leisure.

Day 7

DAY 7 - PHAYAO - CHIANG RAI (B.L.) 170 Km (Phayao-Doi Tung)

07:00 Meeting with the local guide, departure for Chiang Rai, with pleasant stops along the way. Today's exploration of this northernmost province of Thailand begins with a visit to Doi Tung, home to the Mae Fah Luang Gardens and the Queen Mother's Teak House. The Mae Fah Luang Garden is adorned with roses, dahlias, and tulips, arranged in European-style flowerbeds. Scattered throughout the garden are fountains, rock art, wooden structures, and a small evergreen maze. Some areas of the park are also dedicated to traditional tropical plants and flowers, including a fern house, an orchid house, and a night garden. There's even a special cactus house. We continue with the Choui Fon Tea Plantation, one of the largest tea producers in Chiang Rai, situated atop a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding fields. There's a tea shop and an on-site restaurant with expansive views of the rolling hills and distant mountains. It's a modern, clean, and finely designed building with a terrace and large windows that open onto the panoramic view. There are numerous open fields to traverse and a menu with a wide selection of teas to choose from. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, return to the city and transfer to the pier for boarding a motorboat that will take us along the Kok River to Ruam Mitr, with a visit to the Karen and Lahu ethnic minorities. The Karen village of Ruammit, located on the banks of the Nam Mae Kok (Mae Kok River), is famous for its elephants, with a long tradition of training and logging and remains distinctly Karen ethnicity, preserving its culture and traditions. To date, it has become one of the major tourist attractions both on the Nam Mae Kok and in the province of Chiang Rai. In the early evening, arrival at the selected hotel and check-in to the reserved rooms. Overnight at the hotel in Chiang Rai. Arrival in Chiang Rai around 18:00-18:30. Check-in at the reserved hotel. Evening at leisure.

Day 8

DAY 8 - CHIANG RAI - CHIANG MAI. Golden Triangle, Wat Phra That Pu Khao, Opium Museum, White Temple, Mae Krachan, (B.L.) 180 Km Breakfast. Today we begin the exploration of this northernmost province of Thailand, starting from the famous Golden Triangle, the point where the borders of Myanmar (formerly Burma), Thailand, and Laos meet. The visit includes Wat Phra That Pu Khao, which offers a wonderful view of the Golden Triangle, the Mekong River, and the wooded mountains. Two large multi-headed Naga serpents at the bottom of the stairs protect the temple. We continue with the Opium Museum. The museum exhibits and educates visitors about opium production and its use in the lives of tribal hill populations, from the visit we can learn much about the history of opium from when it developed in this infamous location. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. Along the road to Chiang Mai, we make a stop at the famous White Temple, Wat Rong Khun, one of the many religious sites in Chiang Rai. Created out of the great devotion of the renowned Thai artist Chalermchai Kosipipat, the temple is dedicated to Lord Buddha with the intention of building an attainable paradise on earth that represents justice and encourages good karma.
