Day 2

DAY 2 - BANGKOK - Royal Palace and Temples – Half Day (B.)

Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with the guide and departure for a half-day visit to some of the main attractions of this metropolis. We start with the Royal Palace, founded in 1782, which includes not only royal halls and the throne but also numerous government offices and the famous Emerald Buddha Temple. It covers an area of 218,000 square meters and is surrounded by four walls, 1900 meters in length. We continue with the adjacent Wat Pho, not only one of Bangkok's most visited Buddhist temples but also a combination of history, medical science, and a school. Founded during the 16th century, it became the Royal Temple of King Rama I of the Chakri Dynasty. In 2008, Wat Pho was declared a UNESCO Memory of the World (MOW) as a documentary heritage for Asia and the Pacific region. The visits conclude with Wat Trimitr, a Buddhist temple near Bangkok's Chinatown famous for one thing: the Golden Buddha. The main Buddha statue, made of cement, was transferred to Wat Trai Mitr during a restoration in 1931. Twenty years later, in 1955, when the structures were completed, the Buddha statue fell during a lifting operation, revealing the pure gold hidden inside. Return to the hotel is scheduled between 12:00-12:30 for the morning excursion and between 17:00-17:30 for the afternoon one.

IMPORTANT

Please dress appropriately, covering shoulders and knees.

Please bring your passport, often required for entrance checks.

Day 3

DAY 3 - BANGKOK - AYUTTHAYA, CRUISE WITH LUNCH – Full Day (B.L.).
07:00 - Departure from the hotel in Bangkok.
Meet the guide in the hotel lobby and depart by air-conditioned vehicle towards Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of the Kingdom of Siam, located about 80 km north of Bangkok.
08:30 - Arrival in Ayutthaya and start of visits, included:

Wat Mahathat: This temple is famous for the Buddha head embedded in the roots of a tree, one of the most iconic images of Ayutthaya.

Wat Phra Sri Sanphet: Considered the most important temple of Ayutthaya, it was part of the royal palace complex and is known for its three imposing chedis (stupas).

Wat Lokayasutharam: Here, you will find a giant reclining Buddha statue 42 meters long, one of the largest of its kind.

Wat Chaiwatthanaram: Located along the river, this temple is known for its impressive Khmer-style architecture and offers a panoramic view of the river.
12:30 - Boarding for the return cruise to Bangkok.
After the visits, transfer to the pier to board a cruise ship along the Chao Phraya River. A buffet lunch will be served during the cruise, with a selection of Thai and international dishes.
15:30/16:00 - Arrival in Bangkok and return to the hotel.

Important Notes:

Clothing: Appropriate attire is recommended for temple visits, with shoulders and knees covered.

Day 4

DAY 4 - BANGKOK - Maeklong Railway, Damnoern Saduak - Half Day (B.)

Breakfast at the hotel. At 06:30-07:00, meet with the Italian-speaking guide and depart for a beautiful day of visits to the nearby provinces of Song Khram and Ratchaburi, about 100 km from Bangkok. We start with the Railway Market (Hoop Rom Market), commonly known as Siang Tai Market (at your own risk). It stretches over a length of 100 meters, located on the railway near Mae Klong Railway Station. Next, we head to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. We arrive at the pier and, with a long-tail boat, navigate about 30 minutes through the canals to reach the Floating Market. Damnoen Saduak Market in Ratchaburi is one of the most popular floating markets in Thailand, where many Thai and foreign tourists visit every day to shop, eat, and absorb the atmosphere of the water markets built over a hundred years ago. Around 11:00, depart to return to Bangkok, with arrival at the hotel expected around 12:00. Afternoon free for individual and/or optional activities.

Day 5

DAY 5 - BANGKOK - One Way Transfer City Hotel – Airport. Driver Only (B.)
