DAY 2 - BANGKOK: Grand Palace and Temples – Half Day (B.)
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide and depart for a half-day tour of the main attractions in this bustling metropolis. Begin with the Grand Palace, established in 1782, which includes not only royal halls and the throne but also several government offices and the famous Temple of the Emerald Buddha. The Grand Palace spans an area of 218,000 square meters and is surrounded by four walls, 1,900 meters in length.
Continue with Wat Pho, one of Bangkok's most visited Buddhist temples, which combines history, medical science, and educational heritage. Founded in the 16th century, it became the Royal Temple of King Rama I of the Chakri dynasty. In 2008, Wat Pho was designated a UNESCO Memory of the World (MOW) for Asia and the Pacific Region.
The tour concludes with Wat Traimit, a Buddhist temple near Chinatown famous for one unique feature: the Golden Buddha. The main statue, initially covered in cement, was moved to Wat Traimit during renovations in 1931. In 1955, while completing the temple structures, the Buddha statue cracked during a lifting process, revealing the solid gold hidden underneath. Return to the hotel is expected between 12:00–12:30 PM for morning tours and between 5:00–5:30 PM for afternoon tours.
IMPORTANT:
Please dress appropriately, covering shoulders and legs down to the knees.
Please bring your passport, as it is often required for entry checks.
DAY 3 - BANGKOK: Maeklong Railway Market, Damnoen Saduak – Half Day (B.)
Breakfast at the hotel. Between 6:30 and 7:00 AM, meet your Italian-speaking guide and depart for a delightful tour exploring nearby provinces. Travel to Samut Songkhram and Ratchaburi, about 100 km from Bangkok. Start with the Maeklong Railway Market (Hoop Rom Market), also known as the “Risky Market.” Spanning a length of 100 meters, this unique market is located directly on the railway tracks near Maeklong Station.
Next, head to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Upon arrival at the pier, take a long-tail boat for a 30-minute ride through the canals to reach the floating market.
Damnoen Saduak, located in Ratchaburi, is one of the most popular floating markets in Thailand. Every day, many Thai and foreign tourists visit to shop, eat, and experience the vibrant atmosphere of Thailand's water markets, which have been operating for over a century. Around 11:00 AM, return to Bangkok, with arrival at the hotel expected around 12:00 PM. The afternoon is free for individual activities and/or optional tours.

Why Thai Akha?
Why cooking with Us?
The Akha people immigrated and became citizens of Thailand in the early 1900s through China, Laos and Myanmar.
There are now 80,000 Akha people living in small villages in the mountains of Thailand. Akha people have their own traditions, culture and beliefs, different from the rest of Thailand, as many hill tribes do.
Thai Akha Kitchen is run by Akha people who were born and raised in Thailand.
We love Thai food just as much as you
