At 07:00, meeting with the guide and departure for the discovery of the ancient capital of Thailand.

Bang Pa In is reached with a short journey of about 60 kilometers (40 miles) north of Bangkok, along the banks of the Chaopraya River, Bang Pa In is one of the summer palaces of the Royal Family of Thailand. The palace dates back to the seventeenth century, before the settlement of Bangkok as the capital, which then fell into disuse for a long period. All the buildings you will visit date back to its rebirth, made possible by King Mongkut (Rama IV) in the nineteenth century.

We proceed with the Ayutthaya Historical Park, the city was founded in the year 1350 Ca. and became the second Siamese capital after Sukhothai.

It flourished from the 14th to the 18th centuries, during which it became one of the largest and most cosmopolitan urban areas in the world and a center of diplomacy and global trade. Ayutthaya was strategically located on an island surrounded by three rivers that connected the city to the sea. This site was chosen because it was above the Gulf of Siam tide as it existed in that period, thus preventing the attack of the city by maritime warships from other nations

13:00-13: 30 Stop to a nice restaurant for lunch

After lunch, we continue to the town of Lopburi, where we arrive at around 2.30 pm. Very ancient, it is also known as the city of monkeys.

The stop includes a visit to the famous Phra Prang Sam Yot temple, the symbol of the city. Last stop today, Nakhon Sawan, a small town whose origins date back to prehistory, and it is also where the Chao Phraya River is formed which is the confluence of four rivers, Ping, Wang, Yom and Nan, originating in northern Thailand. The Ping and Wang rivers join together in Tak province and become Ping River. Arrival at the hotel at about 18:30. Overnight

Day 2

NAKHON SAWAN - KAMPHAENG PHET - SUKHOTHAI. Khlong Lan waterfalls, Sukhothai Historical Park (B.L.)

08:00 Meeting with the Guide, continuation of the journey to discover northern Thailand, before leaving make sure you have a bathing suit and a towel with you. The first stop will be in fact at the waterfalls of Khlong Lan National Park, in the small province of Kamphaeng Phet. Located a few steps from the headquarters of the park, the Khlong Lan waterfall includes several streams that fall on a 40 meters wide cliff in a collection of swimming pools suitable for swimming, you can also swim down to the bottom and feel the water above you. Immersed in lush mountains, Khlong Lan is among Thailand's most picturesque waterfalls, particularly when it flows across the width of the cliff, during the rainy months from July to October. Waterfalls have less power during the dry season, but the park remains a pleasant place to camp, hike and swim. At 13: 00-13: 30 we make a stop for lunch.

Then we continue the journey to Sukhothai Historical Park. The park is located 12 kilometers from the new city on the Sukhothai-Tak Highway. The park is open daily from 08:30 a.m. at 04.30 p.m. and also offers tram service, as well as bicycle rental for exploring the vast area. The Service Center for Tourists in the Park offers information, as well as display projections of historic buildings and structures in old Sukhotai. Ruins of the royal palaces, Buddhist temples, the city gates, walls, ditches, dams, pits, ponds, canals, and the dam water control system, was the magical and spiritual center of the Kingdom, are now preserved and were restored by the Department of Fine Arts with the collaboration of UNESCO, the rectangular city measures 1330 meters in width and 1800 meters in length. The walls contain four main gates. Arrival at the hotel in Sukhothai at about 17.30. Overnight

Day 3

SUKHOTHAI - SRI SATCHANALAI - PHAYAO - CHIANG RAI Si Satchanalai, Wat Phra That Suthon Mongkol Khiri, Vonburi House, Lake Phayao (B.L.)

07:00 Meeting with the Guide, departure for Chiang Rai, with pleasant stops along the way.

Si Satchanalai Historical Park is located on the bank of the Yorm River. The ancient city formally called Muang Chaliang was renamed Si Satchanalai during the reign of Phra Ruang when a new administrative center was established to replace Chailang. The ruins of 134 monuments have been discovered within this park.

Although not an ancient temple, Wat Phra That Suthon Mongkol Khiri has a beautiful architecture inspired by the traditional style, such as the Ubosot (Celebratory Hall) and the Lanna style, with a Teak building.

The Vonburi House, built in Teak and was built in the late 1800s, early 1900s in European colonial style, today is an interesting museum house, very well preserved.

Stop for lunch in a local restaurant.

Lake Phayao is very popular with local tourists and is also an important fishing resource. Early in the morning, the fishermen leave and come back in the middle of the morning, to supply the restaurants on the lake that will prepare themselves for another day of catering, whose menu, of course, features grilled lake fish.

The lakeside promenade is a popular recreation area with afternoon aerobics classes, families picnicking, couples strolling in the evenings and walking along the promenade between the adjacent cafes and restaurants. Here you can choose from various activities (not included in the price, to be paid directly on site) including renting a boat to sail along the waters to Wat Tilokarum, or renting a bicycle to wander around the lake.

Lunch is served in a local restaurant.
