📍 18:15 – Meet your driver in the hotel lobby.
The very first Khantoke Dinner Show was created right here at Old Chiang Mai in 1970 to showcase the traditional Northern Thailand (Lanna) culture. This unique tradition has evolved over centuries, and much of what you will experience here remains timeless.
Many of the dances you will witness were developed in the last 150 years, with the most recent one introduced in 1957. However, all of them have deep roots in ancient Lanna dance traditions.
Over time, Khantoke dinners have become increasingly popular, and many venues have attempted to replicate them. Unfortunately, many have compromised authenticity in favor of commercial interests. At Old Chiang Mai, we are committed to preserving the true customs and traditions as authentically as possible.
🛺 End of the Show – Transfer back to the hotel or to the Night Bazaar (please inform us at the time of reservation).
