KOH TAO - WELCOME PACKAGE

AVAILABLE FROM MONDAY 1ST JANUARY 2024 TO WEDNESDAY 31ST DECEMBER 2025

Unlimited Seats

The tiny Island of Koh Tao ("Turtle Island"), 45 km north of Koh Phangan, is one of the top scuba diving destinations in Thailand. Whats more, the island, which is the site of important breeding grounds for Hawksbill and Green turtles, is now a centre for environmentally friendly diving practices, including the reintroduction of hundreds of juvenile turtles to the island's ecosystem and efforts to preserve and grow coral reefs.

Once a Destination almost exclusively for scuba divers and those looking to get away from it all, Koh Tao is now also a destination for wild 20-somethings to warm up before or unwind after neighbouring Koh Phangans Full Moon Party. Fortunately, despite its quite small size, most of the Beaches around Koh Tao have retained a charming, laid back atmosphere and bungalows ranging from ultra-basic thatch roof to chic and boutique are available for those on any budget to enjoy the beauty of one of Thailands most spectacular Islands.

Non-divers can appreciate the beauty of Koh Tao, which seems relatively devoid of inhabitants while the majority of visitors are spending their days underwater, by taking a Boat Trip around the Island to visit Koh Taos many gorgeous Beaches and bays, hiking to the summit of the island, studying yoga, or simply relaxing in a hammock and enjoying the view of nearby Koh Nang Yuan, a spectacular attraction in its own right.

Travel Tips

- The best time to visit Koh Tao is February April.

- There are motorcycles for rent on the Island.

- Even though the Island is in Surat Thani province, but it is closer to the coast of chumphon. Therefore, the best choice for Travelling there is via Boat from chumphon.

- Electricity, supplied by generators, is very expensive: switch off the lights, fans, and air conditioning when leaving your Room.

- Exercise extreme caution when Driving motorbikes on Koh Tao.

- Wear mosquito repellant with DEET, particularly around dawn and dusk.

- Koh Tao is a fragile ecosystem hosting over 100,000 visitors a year: please DO NOT LITTER: even cigarette butts and plastic wrappers from water bottles take a heavy toll over time

- While diving or Snorkelling, look, don't touch; this includes turtles, coral, and any other marine life!

Koh Samet is a popular weekend getaway for Thais and foreigners living in Bangkok, so there are dozens of Beach resorts, bars, and restaurants on nearly every beach, although visitors are allowed to camp if they wish to do so.

Quiet and relaxing on the weekdays, raucous and fun on the weekends, Koh Samet is, despite its proximity to Bangkok, a beautiful Island with powdery white sand, generally great year-round weather, and a variety of lodging options.

Visitors to Koh Samet looking for unspoiled beauty have to get away from the more developed Beaches along the east coast, though even the most popular Beaches are quite beautiful. Those looking for more relaxation can book Rooms at the more upscale resorts on the west coast, which are spectacular places to watch sunsets.

Koh Samet boasts a number of fine white sandy Beaches. The famous Samet Beaches are Hat Sai Kaew, Ao Noi Na, Ao Luk Yon, Ao Phai, Ao Putsa, Ao Tubtim, Ao Lung Dum, Ao Cho, Ao Tawan, Ao Wong Duean, Ao Thian, Ao Wai, Ao Kiu, Ao Pakarang, Ao Karang and Ao Phrao.

Ko Chang island, known also as Elephant Island named because of its elephant shaped headland, is Thailands third largest island after Phuket and Samui. It is located around 300 kilometres east of Bangkok in Trat Province, in the Gulf of Thailand near the Cambodian border.

From jungle covered mountain peaks to sweeping bays, great waterfalls to flourishing coral reefs, beach huts to luxury resorts, Koh Chang has plenty to offer for everyone.Ko Chang is part of the Mu Ko Chang National Park. Despite its increase in development and tourism in the past decade or so, it has retained its remote and rugged character.

With an area covering approximately 212 square kilometres, 70% of Koh Chang is covered in rainforests, mountains and beaches. The highest peak on the island is Khao Salak Phet, rising from the ground at 743 meters, and given its mountainous terrain there is an abundance of waterfalls with the tallest but not always the most accessible being Klong Neung waterfall, which can be found in thesouth-eastern corner of the island.
